Grenoble, a city in the south of france is the historical capital of the glove making industrie.
Since 2009 I saw more and more of gloves with an artistic approach. I’m not in love with gloves…because withem I can’t touch my iPhone ;)…but I liked how they look like! So…I asked google.
FST Handwear gloves are made from french materials of high quality. They used to be a new urban accessory infused with the boarding and street culture.
For now the FST gloves are available in Europe, mainly in France.
I’m arrived in Berlin right now! I was out for a coffee with Sebastian Waters. Sebastian lives in Berlin and just started with his new studio Modus Operandi.
Sebastian is a part of designers, developers, and curators of content with an intense dream to find meaningful and lasting relationships with clients.
It was nice to talk with this creative head and to exchange some experiences. Tomorrow I’ll post some more Berlin photos. I’m glad to be here now. It’s time for a glas of wine with my girl.
As announced yesterday, I was in the evening at the vernissage “Le tigre – J’ai mis un tigre dans mon vélo” RVCA presented and supported by Kinki at theflashgib in Stuttgart.
It was a great and funny evening. I collected a lot of new impressions, admired the photographs, installations and paintings and met some friends I haven’t seen for a long time.

It’s always great to meet familiar faces from France, England, Finland and Germany at a common place. Yesterday I had a shoot with my new favorite shirt. I will tell more about the next few weeks.
…it’s my opinion…and also the opinion of “Schwarz auf Weiss”. The Berlin based publishing house “from here to fame” has a quiet impressive output on street culture related books.
via fromheretofame.com
One of this books named “Schwarz auf Weiss” seeks to make style the true center of attention. The pages are filled with a fine selection of vector graphics, styles and characters. International street artists and worked together and around the philosophy “style needs no color”.
Today is a wonderful day. I was at the gym and took a sauna with a friend. The moaning there is almost frightening ;). But it was still very relaxing.
Tonight theflashgib (Stuttgart) invites for the vernissage “Le tigre – J’ai mis un tigre dans mon vélo presented by RVCA“. I’ll try my hand with the Canon 450D for the first time. Maybe I’ll go even slightly out around to capture this sunny day in Germany for you.
Tomorrow I will post a new outfitpictures and a small report about the vernissage.
With its roots in the love of reggae music, Skank has one foot in Jamaica and the other in the ever-expanding streetwear market.
Skank’s creations are designed by Tomas Björkén and friends. They began selling the brand in the Spring of 2003, in their own boutique in the centre of Stockholm, Sweden.
I took a look at the fall/winter collection 2010. For my share the skank clothes are a bit to colorfull but I like the boxers!
RVCA is brought together by a group of likeminded individuals from various subcultures. RVCA combines art, music, fashion and a modern lifestyle in an original way.
Last summer we shot the RVCA Lookbook for the spring collection 2010. Now I wish it would be spring already. I love the soft cloth and the feminine cuts. Wearing the “Collett dress”, the “Alexa Jumper” with the “Thunderbolt Shirt Jacket”.
At the Bright tradeshow I took a look at the autumn/winter collection and I’m still convinced.
Today I wanna show you some pictures of the fenchurch booth from the bright tradeshow. In my opinion it was one of the greatest! Nice colors and natural light.
Fenchurch is a brand of streetwear based in Acton, London in the UK. Although a relatively new brand, it has quickly become a significant part of the urban fashion scene.
I’ve never been a big fan of fenchurch but since the fair and the new collection I am convinced of this brand, it’s colors and the cuts!
I’ve met Silvi from the les ettes team at the bright tradeshow in Frankfurt. She told me new informations about the products and gave me some free samples. I like the smell and I’m looking forward for the next Les Ettes product.
What do you think the next Les Ettes product will be? Guess right and you’ll win the product! Go ahead and visit them on facebook.
Deadline date for submissions is February 6th.
Get your own idea of Les Ette and meet them on February 7 at ISPO in Munich (Germany). Les Ettes will be presenting the first extension to its cosmetic line succeeding tour non-alcoholic perfumes.
Today, I got a little tip about a great woman. Nina Stiller, a dear friend of mine, has launched her photoblog today. From now on she’ll report bout her shootings, especially from the fashion and music area.
But there are not only images to be seen. I’m happy to enjoy more of her words!
She invites you on a journey. I’ll go with her. You, too?!
…no you don’t! I’ve done important things the last few days and experienced a lot. The fashion week is almost over but I will still tell a lot about it.
Now I just relax, listen to music and eat great pizza. I look forward to some developments in my life in the coming weeks. And you should look forward to further reports on the latest trends in streetwear section!
Now a picture and a song for you, and a hot shower for me. Then partying begins! It’s Saturday, let’s shake and jump!
At the carhartt booth last weekend, I put on a 3D glasses which took me on a visual journey to another world, where I met about 20 characters from the carhartt skate team. ;)
After more than three years of hard work it is finally done and I saw the result of the book called SKATEBOARDING.3D. It is available in stores worldwide.
SKATEBOARDING.3D shows the entire series of photographs that Sebastian Denz took with members of the carhartt skateboard team.
Besides the carhartt artwork I took a look on the autumn/ winter collection of carhartt. I like the cuts of the girls shirts with the sleeves turned inside out.
Today I found this photographies of the story called “Between” by the finnish design studio Tokyo22. It’s a series of images inspired by one of the many dilemmas of our time.
In any case this photography-artwork works really trippy to me, I like it because of the composition of the background, the clothes and the make-up.

Wish nothing, nothing.
Praise nothing
Break nothing
Build Nothing
Like your paradise: nothing.
Like your idols: nothing.
Like your politicians: nothing.
Like your heroes: nothing.

I’m at the Bright Tradeshow in Frankfurt right now. Checking the new collections of some brands, had have a nice party tonight and I’ll tell you more about the tradeshow tomorrow.
Wearing my brand new COS silk oversize shirt. This is one of my favourite shirts so far. And I got a new hair cut, shorter on both sides, it feels good and now I’m feeling free around my head ;)
Tomorrow I’ll drive to Frankfurt, to the bright tradeshow. It will be so much fun. I want to take pictures there, meet other bloggers and seeing some faces again will be sweet. I’m looking forward to see there.
By the way…what do you think about formsping? Sorry but the sense escapes me. If you have any question so keep sending me this, I’ll answer them soon! But I won’t create a formspring!
So, and now I’m super-busy but it’s super fun! Anyway, I guess you’ll soo get more outfit pictures of me again, but till then, I wish you all the best!
Today I’m looking forward to the Bright Tradeshow on this weekend. I’ll be there to check out all the exhibitors of different Streetwear labels. There also will be some artists and lot’s of medias. I’ll write an article for the kinki magazine with photographies of Alexandre Kurek.
I’m excited about some brands I don’t know yet. For example “les ettes“. Les ettes produces high quality non-alcoholic perfumes designed for girls passionate about boardsports.
There will be labels I already blogged about, e.g. RVCA, Armedangels,
WeSC or AVEAL. More to come during the weekend!
After the lecture I went out to the city to check out some sale offers at COS and Zara. After that I decided to visit the new store/gallery “theflashgib” in Stuttgart, the city where I’m studing. I’m crazy about the Forfex Spaceboots I saw there. I like the resemblance to a ‘Spaceboot’. Bold, soft and eye-catching!
Now the prject between PAM and Forfexhas taken a more refined step in terms of colors. This Spaceboot design has featured a minimal black and white colorway, as well as a played down white, grey and beige piece.
But I think I like the colorful silhouette more than the minimal black and white colorway. It’s a Spaceboot, they have to look spacy! ;)
I got WeSC headphones, I like the deep sound and the style. But today I saw the headpohnes by Vestalife, and I’m totally taken with them! I think they would look great on my head ;)

This headphones were made for the girls. With a sexy and female design. “No matter how sexy those iPod ads look, headphones and fashion don’t go together.”
With attention to the cord, soft-touch earbuds and flexible fixtures, different colors the headphones look more like necklaces or eraings.
Do you know the documentary “TALHOTBLOND”? I Can’t wait to see this movie. It’s about the true story of an Internet love triangle that takes place entirely online. Lies lead to murder in real life, as a teenage vixen aka ‘talhotblond’ lures men into her web.
She wants revenge, and unleashes a fantasy on line that escalates into real life murder…
