I Don’t like the look of GaGa but it’s kinda space-age tradition of the late sixties. It reminds of sci-fi looks and visionary modern art. Gaga loves the “Yuri” model, which comes in red or black.

The vision panel was created with the eyewear expert Mykita (Berlin, Germany). The sci-fi helmets are available from August to buy, wear and feel Yuri.

The movie “Speaking in Code” exactly is about this issue.

The passion is techno. A touching documentary which takes you around the world of techno (told by Modeselektor, Monolake and others).

“The result is a tightly-interwoven, compelling documentary that is at times light-hearted and at times heartbreaking. It’s the story of a scene from the inside out-intimate, raw and vivid.”

The premiere takes place on thursday the 1st July at the cinema “Babylon”, Rosa-Luxenburg-Strasse 30 in Berlin. It starts at 9 p.m. and the doors will open at 8:30 p.m.

He lives and works in New York City.

He first to put his name on the map in the 80s, with erotic films featuring underground rock personalities of the time such as Lydia Lunch and Henry Rollins in movies like “The Right Side of My Brain” and “Fingered.” He strikes me as a bit of a perv but as an artist.

Like many of the musicians around Kern, he had a deep interest in the aesthetics of extreme sex, violence, and perversion and was one of the leading lights of Nick Zedd’s coined Cinema of Transgression. He directed a Sonic Youth video in Super-8, which led to more music video work for him.

For more than two decades Kern has a raving success and he is still going strong. I think its just one of those things that doesn’t need to be defined as one or the other, sex sells and it this is a good form of that niche market.

As well as in his numerous books and exhibited at The Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney Museum and in more than 30 solo shows around the world, Kern’s images have been published in Vice, V Magazine, Purple, and Italian GQ.
