The song HAT by Max and Laura Braun presents an enigmatic story of love, discovery and loss, a sense of home and growing up. Foresaking linearity and coherence, a narrative is conveyed through fleeting glimpses, allowing a subtle landscape of emotion and memory to emerge, its contours defined by thick, soft lines.
This dreamlike style is continued throughout the video made by director Michael Fragstein. Hand painted sequences unfolding in an empty space accompany the song’s lyrics. Replete with ambiguity and symbolism, these images appear, merge and fade. An ongoing chain of events reveals an infinite number of ties between the protagonists, while leaving room for interpretation and a space for the audience to reflect.

This season the classic Chuck Taylor All Star is designed this season by the street art artists Parra, Giovanni Estevez, Aaron Martin and Cody Hudson. I’m curious about the individual designs of the artists.

Each artist was asked to use his unique creativity and style to create a special shoe. 10% of the price will be assigned for Global Fund, which supports the fight against HIV / AIDS in Africa.

The four models of the collabo will be available at Wood Wood in Berlin starting August 28.

Wearing my new Akira wedgies (really my new favorites for this season), knee-highs and a sweater from H&M (fall/winter 2010). I don’t like this transit time from summer to fall. It’s to cold and windy to wear summer dresses…so I decide to wear layers. In germany we say “Zwiebel-Look” (”onion-look”). ;)
